I just saw your reply. It's usually best to comment on the other person's wall.
I think the best way to determine your benefit eligibility is to read through the benefit plan documentation posted on the company's benefit site. The rules can & do change so the documentation should tell you the current rules.

I just called 1-877-722-0020 and they told me the very same thing. When I left Bellsouth I was led to believe that I could start drawing at age 591/2 and when I turned that I called and was told 65. Now after checking again I guess 65 is correct. To draw sooner than that you need to be service eligible. Pat
