Retire Early

Sooner is better than later

I was employed at AT&T for 18 years in Reading, Pennsylvania and Honolulu, Hawaii. I left AT&T in 1998 to open a furniture store in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am selling my furniture store and I would like to return to AT&T and retire in about 10 to 15 years. My last position held was in Hospitality Marketing. I have applied for several jobs on the AT&T website but with no success. I keep getting an automated email reply. I am hoping that someone on this forum would be able to help me with a contact name and number in the employment office at AT&T. I would be willing to relocate back to the US Mainland or go International. I have traveled extensively in Asia on business.

Is there a particular type of work or type of position you are interested in?

My last position held was in Hospitality Marketing where I also trained sales techniques to new hired employees in telemarketing and customer service. I wouldn't mind getting back into the training organization. I have already applied for several Store Manager positions in the Wireless division with no success. I was a loyal employee at AT&T for 18 years and I am confused as to why I haven't gotten an interview for the positions that I have applied for. My father retired from AT&T after 36 years of service. I am hoping to find someone on this forum that can get me in touch with someone at AT&T who can help me. Thanks for replying and let me know if you can help.

Hello Alfred, I found this website today. I would like to know if you were able to find anyone to help regarding reentering the AT&T workforce. I have been trying for over a year to find someone, but I get the run around.y I have applied to positions and I have not heard from anyone. My 28 year track record with the company was very good. Any help that you can give would be appreciated. I was a virtual office employee for 10 years

I also would love to work back with AT&T as I had to leave right before the merger!
